Discuss the tradeoffs between the selection of an agile approach and a more traditional approach.

Solution

1. Since agile is a new method, it will be complicated to continue the project with agile but at the same time Team will learn new methodology that is helpful for the same project as well as future projects will become easy with agile. With Traditional methodology the project will go smooth and hassle free since team is well aware with it but it restrict the team for learning something new and latest.

2. Traditional Approach is more suitable for the project requiring more than 200 person days as compared to Agile Approach. But we cant involve user in traditional approach like in agile, after a fixed interval we deliver some code to the client and get the feedback that helps in further steps. A Combination of both can be applied like delivering the code at the end of each month while doing analysis on it in the previous month. Client should also prioritize the needs so that project can go smoothly

3. Another problem in using agile is that client and coders should work face to face and since they are in different countries, it can be out of budget, so the team can contact to the clients by means of video conferencing and Business Analyst can go to client\'s side for continous contact.
