3x 5 19 2x 7Solution3x 5 19 2x 7 Using exponent proper

3x + 5 = (1/9) 2x + 7

Solution

3^(x + 5) = (1/9)^( 2x + 7)

Using exponent property : 1/a^x = a^-x

Writing RHS as (1/9)^( 2x + 7) = (1/3)^2(2x+7)

= 3^-2(2x+7)

Using the exponent property: a^ x = a^y----> x= y ( we can equate the exponent)

3^(x + 5) = 3^-2(2x+7)

(x+5) = -2(2x+7)

x+5 = -4x -14

5x = -19

x = - 19/5 ( Solution)

3x + 5 = (1/9) 2x + 7Solution3^(x + 5) = (1/9)^( 2x + 7) Using exponent property : 1/a^x = a^-x Writing RHS as (1/9)^( 2x + 7) = (1/3)^2(2x+7) = 3^-2(2x+7) Usin
