Consider factors of -4,: +-4, +-2, +-1

Also factors of 1, : +-1

Hence consider fractions: +-4/1, +-2/1, +-1So the possible roots of the polynomial are:

b) 2x³+5x²-2x-3=0

Consider factors of -3, +-3, +-1

Also of 2 : +-1, +-2

Now fraction -3/2 : +-3/1, +-1, +-3/2, +-1/2

The possible rational roots are :
