Solution

1. Kevin should not open fraudulent accounts since it is a big risk that he is taking both with his job and his personal life. The action taken by Kevin will no doubt meet his goals but will become a fraudulent offence since he is using the pin of customers without their awareness. Instead of fraud Kevin must think of mobilizing the accounts team and conduct good business practices for increasing the number of accounts by improving services offered by the bank.

2. The first stakeholder of this action is the bank itself since opening new account will entail maintenance cost by the bank without earning any revenues. The Other stakeholder is the customer since they are victims of Identity theft.

3. In my opinion it is a viable business practice to determine the performance of an individual by the number of accounts opened per employee. Performance measurement needs measurable indicators and the number of accounts open represents a good indicator. It measures the efforts taken by an employee for increasing the business of the bank. The risk of this approach is that it is dependent upon the final result and not the efforts involved. It also limits the services offered by the employee till the time the account is open and the services deteriorate thereafter. This approach also encourages the employees to adopt unethical business practices.
