A man has 6 black socks and 8 white socks in drawer, unpaired in the dark, he takes out 2 socks, one after the other. What is the probability that the man took out two socks of different colors? 18/48 25/48 24/91 3/4 48/91

  Solution
Two cases.
First sock was black and then a white sock
Probablity of thsi is
(6/14)*(8/13)
Case two :First sock was white and then a black sock
Probality of this is
(8/14)*(6/13)
HEnce probality is
(2*8*6)/(14*13)=48/91
