1. Channel proteins are lipoproteins where as carrier proteins are glycoproteins.

2. Channel proteins can not transport molecules or ions against the concentration gradient, Carrier proteins can transport molecules or ions against the concentration gradient,

3.Solutes diffuse through the pore of channel proteins, whereas career proteins bind solutes on one side of membrane and release it on the other side.
