output voltage (Eo) and field current is non linear for high values of current??

Ans) The voltage generated Eo is directly proportional to the flux produced by the field in the rotor

Whenever field current increases flux increases ,but after certain point core used for the winding ,in this case rotor or stator where field winding placed is made up of some material which saturates after certain flux means even you increase the field current further magnetic flux increase will reduces this is called saturation at this stage increase in flux is almost zero.Because of the saturation of the core relationship between Eo and If is non-linear
