Solution

Hall voltage is nagative for N-type semiconductor and positive for P-type. If both dopants are used ,then Hall voltage depends on majority dopant i.e

Negative if N_d > N_a

Positive if N_a > N_d    these are nothing but compensated type semiconductors.
