NEED URGENT HELP!

There are two types of cancer: BR1 and BR2. One group of 50 subjects has metastatis, other 50 do not. After normalization, BR1 has normal distribution of N(0,1) for non metastatis and N(1,1) for metastatis. BR2 has N(0,1) for non metastatis and N(-1,1) for metastatis. For one patient with BR1 expression level at 2, what is the log-likelihood (LLR) of patient being metastatic?

Solution

Group I 50 having metastatis :

Br 1 :N(0,1), Br2: N(0,1)

Group II 50 not having meta statis:

Br 1 :N(1,1), Br2: N(-1,1)

For one patient BR1 expression at level 2,

LLR = ln 1+1 = ln2
