Solution

An evidence based intervention is a city wide mass media campaign to increase the public awareness of Diabetes.

The main goal is to increase the awareness and the knowledge of diabetes among the various people in order to increase the rate of detection of the previous undiagnosed cases of diabetes. The target population are the people of all ages so that they can be aware of it and people can reduce the intake of the sugar content in their diet.

The theoritical framework involves getting the sugar level tests done with and without fasting. If the levels are very high, insulin is recommended otherwise a daily medecine is added and sugar intake needs to be reduced on a regular basis.
