(b) Piagetian constructivis theory

(c) Vygotskian sociocultural or cultural-historical activity theory.

Ans . The general principle which encompasses in all 3 units is the cognitive development. The vygotskian sociocultural theory suggest that learning as a social process and the origination of human intelligence in society. The key theme for vygotskian framework is that social interaction plays a major role in cognitive development. Whereas on the contrary Piagetian constructivis theory considers constructivism as a learning theory in psychology and suggests that human construct knowledge and meaning from their experiences. The biological basis of development and the theory of epigenesis suggests that human at any given developmental level will be quantitatively different in terms of structure and function. As per the theory of epigenesis, it is due to bidirectional relationship that changes occur at all level of organisms.
