Windows Vista introduces a new tool on the desktop: the Sidebar, a vertical column which can be filled with al kinds of gadgets. Windows Vista supports by default a few gadgets for immediate use (like different clocks, a calendar, contacts, a miniature slide show of personal pictures, stock prices, notes, RSS-feed headlines and weather forecasts). But coming to the windows7 Microsoft gave the Sidebar a major overhaul. After installing windows7 software if we want to get sidebar as like vista we have to copy sidebar folder from the vista to windows7 and place the folder in C drive where windows gadgets all are saved. After copying the folder it can be use like sidebar in vista.
