Solution

y = 2x + 1 is a linear function
because 2x + 1 is linear

y = 2x + 1 is neither a horizontal nor a vertical line.
It is a n inclined line, whose domain and range is ALWAYS (-uinf , inf)

So, the inverse would also be linear

And the inverse would also have :

Domain : (-inf , inf)

Range : (-inf , inf)

The inverse function is (x - 1) / 2 by the way
