This is a Sociology question
Is gender socialization more restrictive for boys or girls? Why? Why not? Explain using an example.
Solution
The gender socialization is more restrictive to boys comparative girls because of sexual differences as a result girls often face less pressure compared to boys with respect to gender stereotypes. For example, girls often receive lower attention compared to the boys when they participate in games. Therefore, due to gender appropriateness mainly monitored by fathers closely observes boy’s activities. During early adolescence, individuals develop their physical and sexual features during early adolescence of their sex A few researches illustrated that during onset of the maturity, usually boys and girls experience with intensified sexual behaviour and with experience gender related feelings. Researcher Lynch in 1991 have described that behavioral and sexual behavioral difference occurs as per the their exposure to the social and pressures in the adolescence period and thereby adult physical and sexual aspects changes to either intensified masculine or feminine roles.
