Intraperson conflicts: These are the conflicts that happen in the mind of the person. This usually results in mood swings and other variations in behavior. These are difficult to identify. Example of such a conflict is when a person wants to go out and spend money but stays down due to other commitments. This slowly leads to a conflict about saving and spending.

Interpersonal conflicts are those conflicts ewhere a person has a conflict with another person. This may be due to difference of opinion or non fulfillment of commitments etc. Example is like what is seen in most workplaces where ideas are not accepted in meetings due to different line of thoughts and some time leads to conflicts between people.

Intragroup conflicts are those conflicts where a group of people who aim to achieve the same target together are not able to agree on things and disagreements are not resolved instead leading to conflicts. This can lead to disintegration of the groups. Example is when some players of a sports team do not agree to the captainand instead of resolving the issues revolt against the captain.

Intergroup conflicts are when two groups each having its own agendas confront each other and are not able to agree to a particular single outcome. This leads to rise of tensions amongst the groups. Example of this is a war between countries.
