We didn’t go over this in class, but inductance, L, is directly proportional to the number of windings, N (so as N gets larger L gets larger). Given the change that occurs when part of the inductors shorts, what effect will this have on the filtering circuit? Justify your answer

When the turns in inductor gets short,inductance of the inductor is gets reduced because inductance of the inductor is directly proportional to the square of turns.then inductive reactance gets reduced then overall impedence reduces therefore current reduces... capacitive effect may dominate the inductive effect.
