in my lab we stored all LB agar plates at 4 degrees celcius after solidified. then we incubate one of the four plates at 37 degrees for 24 hours. when we examine there is only one colony. did we expect this result?

If contamination occurs or the original stock contains many number of bacteria, we expect to form many number of bacterial colonies after incubation at 37 degrees for 24 hours because the pathogens best grow at this temperature.
