Case where an existing tool is the best:-
MySQL Workbench:
It is the most user friendly tool for running MySQL databases and can be used by new users simply. It can also join to multiple servers which make it even improved than any other tool available.
Case where we would like to write the code:-
MySQL command shell:
It is the built-in command-line tool which practiced users favor to use particularly those who are more familiar with the commands. In this tool the users have to write the code themselves. The long and unwieldy commands may be hard to remember and may not be used by many who would favor the other user friendly tools but there are many users who like to play and deal with these lengthy commands.
