When observer are asked to place a mark on the point at the midpoint, they always place it more regarding the \"tail\" end. The illusion was designed by Franz Carl Müller-Lyer (1857–1916), a German sociologist, in 1889.
B) The moon\'s perpendicular angular diameter at the horizon is even lesser, generate the moon to appear \"flattened.\" At the horizon the brightness must pass through a substantial distance in our atmosphere than when the moon is higher in the sky.
