A mutation in a gene would cause a change in the sequence of amino acids in a protein.
Solution
The mutation is the alteration of either the nucleotide in the DNA or an aminoacid in the protein. If the mutation involves alteration of more than two nucleotides in the DNA then the protein sequence that results from this DNA will have several aminoacids in it changed. If there is alteration in one or two of the nucleotides, then the aminoacid that will be changed in the protein would be only one. If there is a sequence of nucleotide is mutated then the protein resulting from that DNA will have a sequence of changed aminoacids.
