Together, the three projects will employ more than 150,000 technicians and engineers working around the clock. These simple numbers clearly show how engineering is affecting or affect will middle east in future.

Due to a severe slowdown in the global markets, the engineering exporters are going all-out for a hard-sell in the Middle East countries by aggressive participation in the high-tech industrial fairs.Under the aegis of EEPC India and with the help of the Commerce Ministry of India, as many as 50 top engineering exporting firms are participating in Jordan\'s flagship \'JIMEX 2016\' event that brings under one roof about 200 global exhibitors representing more than 550 international trademarks.

Currenly Gulf coordination council or GCC looks after the electricity distribution.Currently, the GCC represents 47%, or 148GW, of the entire power-generating capacity. Despite this large capacity, the GCC will require $85bn for the addition of 69GW of generating capacity and another $51bn for T&D over the next five years.Kuwait’s estimated capacity in 2015 was around 16GW but will need to reach 22GW by 2020, requiring $12bn of investment. In Oman, rising demand will require generation capacity to grow at an annual rate of 9.6%. The country will need to add 4.8GW in the medium term, involving investment of $8bn. Estimates suggest that Qatar will need to invest around $9bn to add 5.2GW to meet rising demand in the medium term. All this requires a large number of electrical engineers and technicians.
