52 (2SSS) Suppose we are given two triangles ABC and A\'B\'C\' and assume that AB is congruent to 2A\'B\', BC is congruent to 2B\'C\', and AC is congruent to 2A\'C\'. PROVE that triangle ABC is congruent to 2 times triangle A\'B\'C\'

Solution

Since AB is congruent to A\'B\' i.e AB=A\'B\', BC is congruent to B\'C\', and AC is congruent to A\'C\'. Hence by SSS (Side Side Side) triangle ABC is congruent to A\'B\'C\'.
