Solution
There are various difference in downloading a file from web browser and from download accelerator like Internet download manager. The differences are given below:
i) Various web browsers are designed to give priority on browsing and to the security, than file downloading. That is why in web browser file downloading is slow as compare to internet download manager. In various download accelerator, priority is only on downloading the file.
ii) Web browsers also consume more RAM than download accelerator.
iii) In download accelerator, we have features like \"pause and resume the download\", which is not there in web browsers.
iv) If we talk about the packets, then the packets are the same, only the difference is the number of connections through which packets are being transfered.
v) In case of download accelerator, we have multiple connections to the server, to download the file, where in case of web browser we have a single connections.
