The elsticity can be compared by studying the differences in speed (magnitude) of cart before and after collison. The more elastic the material, closer will be the two values:-- e = v(after collison)/v(before collison)

for yellow : e = 17/28 and 22/36 = 0.6

for fishing: e = 19/26 and 26/37 = 0.72

for yarn: e = 29/54 and 42/77 = 0.54

for thread : e = 32/50 and 23/33 = 0.65

for rubber: e = 28/31 and 33/43 ~ 0.8

so: rubber > fishing > thread > yellow > yarn
