Solution

(-x^2-3x-2)

find the roots : -x^2 -3x -2 =0

factorise the equation : -x^2-2x -x -2 =0

-x( x+2) -1(x +2) =0

(-x -1) (x +2) =0

x = -1 ; x =-2

So, (-x^2-3x-2) = (x+2)(-x -1)
