What are the S & F rates for the system with and without the Aux Generator? All units can handle the entire load.

S = 9 s= 0.85 are in parallel

Equivalent S = 1 /s1 +1 /s2

1 /0.85 + 1 / 0.85

= 2 / 0.85

Equivqlent S = 0.85 / 2

Then they are in series = 0.85 / 2 + 0.8 + 0.8

Total S withuot AUXilary generator = 2.025

Total load = 9 - 2.025 = 6.975

Total Load with auxilary generator = 9 + 6.975 = 15.975
