I need a substantive answer for the following: If a circuit has more than one power source, must the power sources have the same frequency? Explain your reasoning.
Solution
It depends on application. For suppose the circuits involved in amplitute modulation or frequency modulation involves signals of different frequencies which is required for tramission of a signal.whereas in power applications like real generators a slight change in frequency is intolerable for the circuit as well as generators as it leads to many problems.Problems involving stabilty etc.One more thing is analysing a circuit with different frequencies must be done using super position theorom. As none of the other means work out while analysing them.
