Find the slope of a line parallel to 7x + 3y = -14. The slope is (Type an integer or a fraction.) Enter your answer in the answer box and then click Check Answer.

Solution

given in question :

7x+3y= -14
convert above equation in to standard form:

i;e y= mx+c here m is slope and c is y- intercept
=> 3y= -7x-14

=> y= -7/3 x-14/3

=> y= m x+c

slope = -7/3

if two lines are parallel then slope must be equal so that

slope of a line parallel = -7/3

 Find the slope of a line parallel to 7x + 3y = -14. The slope is (Type an integer or a fraction.) Enter your answer in the answer box and then click Check Answ
