So my lab group and I had to design an experiment regarding cell movement in response to light (and attempting to inhibit that movement). This is our data:

Cell counts (in millions):

Control, portion of tube in light: 446

Control, in darkness: 292

Inhibitor 1 sample, tube portion in light: 324

Inhibitor 1 sample, tube in darkness: 248

Inhibitor 2 sample, tube portion in light: 298

Inhibitor 2 sample, tube in darkness: 282

If both sides are equal ratio, that means the inhibitor worked. I\'m not quite sure how to organize the chi test and calculate the expected values. I\'ve honestly never even touched a statistics course. I have a general idea how one works now thanks to resources online, but I\'m not quite sure how to apply it to my data correctly.
