Solution
1. Yes, I had depressed mood once upon a time. The normal depression ranges from hours to a week where the person functions reasonably well at work and put on a \"happy face\" in front of others, while deep down they feel quite depressed and disinterested in life. Whereas the major depression disorder will be trouble sleeping, losing weight, and generally feel agitated and irritable. Also continuously feel worthless and guilty.
2.I personally find the counseling (Psychotherapy) as the most appealing one. It would give support to the depressed people in terms of confidence, relationship, and love. But in the case of major depressive disorder, I would recommend medication (Pharmacotherapy) as next therapy in order to control the abnormal biological activity such as tiredness, headache, and body pain. Unfortunately some of the major depressed disorder people will hurt themselves with the suicidal thought or others, so the psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy may not work on them, thus doctors may suggest
ECT uses electrical pulses and rTMS uses a special kind of magnet to stimulate certain areas of brain activity. This helps the parts of your brain that control your mood work better.
