Research Paper Information Systems Organizations and Strate
Research Paper : Information Systems, Organizations, and Strategy.
Solution
An organization is a constant, formal social structure that obtains resources from the environment and routes them to produce outputs. Capital and labor are main production factors provided by the environment. The organization changes these inputs into products and services in a production function. Use information systems to accomplish the lowest operational costs and the lowest prices and to allow new products and services, or largely change the customer convenience in using your existing products and services. Information systems and organizations manipulate one another. Information systems are built by managers to provide the interests of the business firm. Simultaneously, the organization have to be alert of and open to the influences of information systems to benefit from new technologies. The communication between information technology and organizations is difficult and is influenced by several mediating factors, including the organization construction, business processes, politics, traditions, surrounding environment, and management decisions.
