This is a question related to different variables - my glider wing will be a 12 inch airfoil with a wingspan of about 56 inches . Some quick research led me to note that glider airfoil s seems to be about 8 to 10% thick as a total distance from leading to trailing edge .However the best glider wing design in general is one that\'suites optimised for a given weight , aspect ratio and the airspeed range .
