The EROIs (Energy Return On Investment) vary from study to study because the source of energy which we used may be renewable or non renewable for example the Hydroelectric power generation systems have the highest mean EROI value, 84:1 of electric power generation systems.Similarly wind power has a high EROI value, with the mean as high as 18:1 in 2010 and 20:1 in 2012. The value in practice may be less due to the need for backup facilities. So therefore the EROIs value differ from study to study.
