If there is an injury to the infraspinatus muscle, it is very difficult to move the shoulder.
Since infraspinatus muscle is one of the main contributor of the shoulder joint, it mainly takes part in the rotation of the shoulder.
The movement of head of humerous is mainly done by the infraspinatus muscle and teres minor. So, any injury to the infraspinatus musscle may cause difficulties in movement of shoulders.
