Solve by the elimination method. What is the solution of the system? o A. The solution is 3x-4y =-5 -6x+8y 10 O B. O C. Type an ordered pair. Simplity There are infinitely many solut There is no solution.

Solution

3x - 4y = -5 -----(1)

-6x + 8y = -10 -----(2)

Multiply euqation 1 by -2 , we get: -6x +8y = 10 i,e, equation 1

on bustracting the both get 0 =0

So, they are same equations.Hence infinite solution

Option B

2x +7y = 19

x= 17 -5y

Substiute the value o f x :

2(17 -5y) +7y = 19

34 -10y +7y =19

34 -3y =19

3y = 15

y = 5

Now substitute the value of y to get x: x= 17-5y = 17 -25 = -8

Solution ( -8, 5)

 Solve by the elimination method. What is the solution of the system? o A. The solution is 3x-4y =-5 -6x+8y 10 O B. O C. Type an ordered pair. Simplity There ar
