Plot the points with polar coordinates 6 2 pi3 and 2 11 pi6

Plot the points with polar coordinates (-6, -2 pi/3) and (2, 11 pi/6)

Solution

your answer is right .because one polar coordinate has another form.

That would have been a reversal of direction of 180° or

let n = 0
we get (-6, -2/3) ---> (+6, 2/3 + ) or (6, 5/3)
let\'s look at this in degrees ..... (-1, -120°) ---> (1, 120 + 180) = (1,300)
At this point we should realize that their 1st answer cannot be correct, since we don\'t end up at the same endpoint.
(-6, -120°) means: point yourself in the direction of -120
but then go -1 unit, or go 1 unit in the OPPOSITE direction, so the simplest version of
(-6,-120°) = (6,60°) or (6, /3)
