*Chronic Bronchitis*

1. How is this disease/condition transmitted? (Be fairly specific.)
2. Who is most likely to be infected?

3. Who should be your prime target audience for receiving information on this disease/condition? (Who is most likely tospread the disease, therefore needs to know about it. This may not be the same group that is most likely to be infected. Think about the people who work with those who are most likely to be infected - therefore causing the infection to be spread.)
4. How will you reach this target audience? (Type of media, class, personal visit, etc. -- Be specific and realistic - what could you actually do?)
5. What can anyone do to reduce their chances of being infected?

Solution

1. Since chronic bronchitis is non-contagious and non infectious disease, there are less chances that it will disease will be transmitted. It mainly arises by exposure to tobacco smoke, chemical fumes and dust.

2.Chronic bronchitis can affect people of all the ages but people older than 45 years are affected the most. People who smoke mainly develop chronic bronchitis. Women smokers are more likely to be affected than men smokers.Further, people who work in coal mining, textile manufacturing, grain handling, and livestock farming are also infected.

3.The prime target audience would be people who come in contact with people who smoke constantly and are already suffering from chronic bronchitis. When smoke fumes and respiratory fluids from such people come in contact with people around them, those people first get infected with acute bronchitis that later might convert to chronic bronchitis.

4.The best way to reach this target audience is via electronic media and advertisements.

5.Use of respirators can reduce the chances of being infected.
