Dillan has two dog breeds in his animal shelter small breeds

Dillan has two dog breeds in his animal shelter, small breeds and large breeds. There are no medium breeds, only one or the other. Funny enough large breeds on a weekly basis poop 6 times, while the smaller breeds can poop as much as 334 times a week! Dillan has 720 dogs in his shelter in total. Out of that total 266 are large breeds. How many poops in total does Dillan have to pick up?

Solution

The Solution :-

The total number of dogs dillan has in his shelter = 720

The total number of large breeds = 266

Therefore The total number of smaller breeds = 720-266 = 454

The number of times large breeds poop = 6 times a week

The number of times smaller breeds poop = 334 times a week

The total number of times large breeds poop = The total number of large breeds *

The number of times large breeds poop

= 266 * 6

= 1596 times a week.

The total number of times smaller breeds poop = The total number of smaller breeds *

The number of times smaller breeds poop

= 454 * 334

= 1,51,636 times a week.

The total number of poops dillan have to pick up = The total number of times large breeds poop +

The total number of times smaller breeds poop

= 1,596 + 1,51,636

= 1,53,232 times a week.
