Solution

Remember

1/Rp = 1/R1 + 1/R2

Rs = R1 + R2

Rp = R1*R2/(R1+R2)

for 8 ohm and 8 ohm in parallel

Rp1 = 8*8/16 = 4 ohm

for 16 ohm and 4 ohm in series

Rs1 = 16 + 4 = 20 ohm

for 10 ohm and 10 ohm in series

Rs2 = 10 + 10 = 20 ohm

for 20 ohm and 20 ohm in parallel

Rp2 = 20*20/40 = 10 ohm

So,

Req = 10 ohm

V = 60 V

I = 60/10 = 6 amp.

Now current will equally distribute between upper and lower 20 ohms

Iup = 3 amp.

Idown = 3 amp

Now I up will be same in both 10 ohm Resistance because they are in series

I(10) = 3 amp.

I(10) = 3 amp.

Now Idown will be same in both 16 ohm and 4 ohm Resistance because they are in series

I(16) = 3 amp.

I(Rp1) = 3 amp.

Now again Current will equally distribute between 8 and 8 ohm

I(8) = 1.5 amp.

I(8) = 1.5 amp.

Now for voltage calculation

V(10) = I(10)*10 = 3*10 = 30 V

V(10) = I(10)*10 = 3*10 = 30 V

V(16) = I(16)*16 = 3*16 = 48 V

V(8) = I(8)*8 = 1.5*8 = 12 V

V(8) = I(8)*8 = 1.5*8 = 12 V
