adding sqrt 3 on both sides

cot theta = sqrt 3

theta = cot^-1 sqrt 3

theta = pi/6 , 7pi/6

sqrt 2 sin theta + 1 = 0

subtracting 1 from both sides

sqrt 2 sin theta = -1

sin theta = -1/ sqrt2

theta = 5pi/4 , 7pi/4
