As the experiment is done on water ecosystem, diesel fuel contamination is highly affecting the microalgae biomass.

Yet the biomass of microalgae has been increased tremandously, it has been affect on other components of the water ecosystem.

Yes, it is sure that there is increase in microalgae biomass but there is a decrease in consumption of those microalgae.
