Hello guys, my brain is fried from doing homework and I feel like im doubting everything now. Please help me on this very easy stats problem.

So the problem has salaries recorded, and the units are displayed in \"thousands of dollars.\" If I calculated the mean using the units (not adding the thousands of dollars) and I got 14.9 as the answer, do I write that as the answer? Or should I write $14,900 as the answer? All help would be appreciated.

We should right in the same unit as x i.e., 14.9 (in $1000\'s)

Here (in $1000\'s) is being treated as \"unit\", and we can also right 14,900 (in $1\'s) or simply $14,900
