a=v/t =5.4/2.6

a=2.077 m/s2

Distance travelled by him is

X=Xo+Vot+(1/2)at2

Since he starts from rest ,Xo=0 and Vo=0

X=0+0+(1/2)at2=(1/2)*2.077*2.62

X=7.02 m
