Rectangular extrude in part a can be machined by using end milling process in which end mill is travelled through the outer periphery of the rectangular extrude.

3 hole bolt pattern can be made by drilling followed by circular milling.

Pocketing process is used to remove a volume of material in a cavity.It involve drilling first and then opening up through long edge milling.
