Solution

Reason: There is a rapid loss of pottasium from erithrocytes (Hematocrit) in sucrose solution. where as there is loss of pottasium from erithrocyte at lower rate in isotonic saline solution (Nacl).

This phenomenon is due to alterations in the erithrocyte membrane associated with permeability to pottasium

Due to haemolysis, agglutination occurs (mass of erithrocytes)
