18.) What problems might one encounter performing a Biuret test for protein on intact red blood cells? How could these problems be overcome?
Solution
Since intact red blood cells have pigment haemoglobin and haemoglobin also have same colour as of biuret test result colour, one of the major problem occured that if during biuret test red blood cells got haemolyzed, the result of biuret test can be affacted.
One of most common solution to overcome from this problem is that, handle the intact red blood cells very carefully so that they will not burst.
