Let the required number of hours be \"x\".

Then the distance travelled by Ronnie = 34x (metres)

The distance travelled by George =65 x (metres)

Then it is given that

34x + 65x = 59.4

99 x = 59.4

x = 59.4/99 = 0.6 hours or 36 minutes
