Describe four main characteristics of entrepreneurs and give a specific example of each.

There could be many common characteristics of entrepreneurs, but I believe that the four most common characteristics are as follows:

1) Risk takers: Successful entrepreneurs are risk takers; they risk their current job by quitting it and risk/invest all of their savings to start their own venture. They invest a lot and many times everything that they have for their start up while knowing that their business idea may fail too and they would lose all that they have.

2) Tech savvy: They are also good users of technology as they use modern technology for their enterprise; whether it be for marketing, to manage finance/logistics/operations etc.

3) Problem solvers: They are also very good problem solvers. Successful entrepreneurs are not always extra ordinarily intelligent or people with high IQs but people who are thinkers and try to find solutions of their and others problems.

4) Their prime goal is not to make money but to solve problems of mankind: Very true! All the reputed/famous entrepreneurs wanted to do something good for the society and they started their venture not to make money but because they wanted to do something better for the mankind and for the future generations or to make work/life easier.

An additional characteristic that I can think of is: High will power and a never give-up attitude.
