Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) compliance, health, safety, and security, and training and development are the most challenging in my opinion. Equal Employment Opportunity compliance is a very big challenge especially dealing with outsourcing in other countries. A HR Manager has to know different laws of different countries and making sure that they are operating and adhering to those laws. Health, safety and security is also a challenging role for a HR Manager. With my company, we are big on safety and security. A portion of y job is to make sure offsite employees are operating in a safe environment and I am always seeking ?
Solution
Equal Employment Opportunity is the policy that requires HR manager do not discriminate against employees and job applicants on the basis of age, color, creed, religion etc.
There are some ways to prevent discrimination against employees which is as follows
1. Provide trainning to all employees on equal employment opportunity (EEO). Implement EEO that is embraced at top level of the organization
2. Create an open communication and resolve dispute among employees. An alternative dispute-resolution (ADR) program can help to resolve EEO problems.
3. Recruit or hire employees while keeping EEO in mind. Implement the EEO practices to widen and diversify the pool of candidates
4. Adopt a strong harrasment policy and train employee on its content and advice them to follow and enforce it.
