3x^2 -5x +1 =0

Lets use quadraticformula : x = ( -b +/- sqrt(b^2 -4ac)

in our case : b^2 -4ac = 25 - 4*3*1 = 25 -12 = 13 >0 (real roots)

x = (5 + /- sqrt13)/6 =5/6 +/- sqrt(13)/6
